Step 2: Search online for more vocabulary tips. Search this in your browser: learning vocabulary ESL tips
Click on a few of those websites to see some of the ideas they have. Maybe there is something interesting there.

Step 3: Have you learned a new vocabulary learning tip? Type it onto the class document (the document you opened in Step 1) . Try to add at least one vocabulary learning tip if you can.

2. Write 1-2 pages in yourgreen journal
3. Continue to work on the Advising Question Worksheet - this is not due until Thursday.
4. Quizlet: Here are your new vocabulary words:

3. Go into your English Central Account. Watch 3 or more videos on whatever topic you want. Choose your favorite and send the name of it to me a marthavkehl@gmail.com . I will look to see what you decided to do! I can see EVERYTHING! This is a VERY VERY nice service. Take full advantage of it. You will have 30 days from the day we sign you up.


4. If you have time, begin to work on the Advising Handout. You must just make sure you know what these questions mean -- by NEXT TUESDAY.

This is not due until Thursday, but you might have more time to work on it over the weekend… You will need to make sure to write a sentence for each word. If you are not sure how to use it in a sentence, then look it up in a dictionary and see how it is used there. On the Vocabulary page of the wiki I have listed some good online dictionaries. Try not to copy the sentences word for word, but you can write very similar sentences about you and your life.
